Job summary

Elim Park’s Box Office in Cheshire, CT is seeking a part-time Box Office Sales Associate for an 8–12 hour per week, job-share arrangement. Responsibilities include processing ticket sales in person, by phone, and online, delivering friendly customer service, and assisting with group sales and events.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, prior sales or customer service experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ticketing systems; Tix experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Process ticket sales in person, by phone, and online
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to patron inquiries
• Develop group sales leads and assist with group sales and lunch reservations
• Monitor attendance and box office sales and maintain accurate transaction records
• Balance and secure the sales drawer and prepare routine sales reports
• Prepare ticket orders and confirmations
• Manage usher recruitment, scheduling, and assignments
• Assist with show-night preparations, special events, promotions, and season launches
• Maintain ticketing system information, including loading new seasons
• Assist with administrative projects, mailings, and other duties as needed
