Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Los Angeles to provide friendly registration and check-out, handle PBX communications, and deliver exceptionally personal guest service. You will build relationships with guests and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

You will manage room assignments, assist with guest requests, and uphold hotel policies while representing the brand’s boutique, guest-centric ethos.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Front Desk or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the local area, services, attractions and events.
• Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle high pressure with many arrivals/departures.
• Familiar with hotel systems and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register and check out guests in a confident, professional, friendly manner.
• Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably.
• Coordinate PBX operations and message services for guests.
• Maintain daily shift duties and checklists by end of shift.
• Pre-assign rooms including VIPs and special requests; manage packages.
