Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Canton, MA is seeking a self-directed Sales Leader to drive HVAC sales and margins through our direct sales offices in the Boston area. You will design and execute strategies to achieve annual sales targets, expand the customer base, and lead a small team of Sales Engineers while maintaining strong relationships with engineers, contractors and owners.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading sales teams and managing field operations.
• 5+ years of sales experience in HVAC or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies for achieving annual sales and margin growth targets for Carrier HVAC applied equipment.
• Expand the customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
• Forecast and develop annual sales quotas for the region and achieve growth targets.
• Lead factory direct Carrier sales offices in the assigned territories.
• Engage with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and owners to generate sales.
• Establish new accounts and grow existing accounts in volume and profitability.
• Provide planning, pricing, territory management and sales activity reports.
• Execute Carrier's programs, product introductions and strategies.
• Manage relationships with distribution channels and interfaces with factories.
• Attract, retain, develop and lead a team of Sales Engineers.
• Mentor Sales Trainees with sales and safety training.
