Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks an established HVAC Sales Engineer to market Carrier Applied and Industrial HVAC products to current and prospective customers within the Canton region. You will lead sales efforts, develop long-term relationships with contractors, engineers and owners, and support post-sale activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with HVAC sales experience or HS diploma with 6 years HVAC sales.
• BS in Engineering preferred.
• Experience with Applied HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools.
• LEED AP accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets.
• Lead and grow assigned territory by building long-term relationships.
• Routinely call on Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineering firms and Facility Owners/Developers.
• Assist with bid day operations, take-offs, quotes and post-sale order entry.
• Promote Carrier’s line card, attend trade shows and events.
• Assist with project management duties after shipment, including cash collection.
