Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. on the South Shore seeks a strong Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, job costing, and general ledger maintenance.

You will help manage project financials and ensure compliance with federal and FAA requirements. This role involves collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate billing and effective financial controls across our mid-sized, family-owned operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or construction accounting experience.
• Experience with construction job costing.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.
• Familiarity with AP/AR and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

We are partnering with a family‑owned, mid‑sized specialty electrical contractor on the South Shore to identify a strong Bookkeeper to join their growing team! This individual will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, job costing, prevailing wage payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. This role is critical in supporting project financials, ensuring compliance with federal and FAA requirements, and maintaining overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports for management review
• Support overall accounting processes and internal financial controls

Pay Range: $70,000 - 80,000 Commensurate with experience
