Job summary

MarineMax is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Service Manager, team and customers. The role focuses on gathering information to perform boat work and ensuring timely, first-time quality completion.

You will coordinate with technicians, greet customers, document corrections, prepare work orders, and finalize invoices while maintaining clear communication and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with manufacturers and warranty companies for repair approvals when required.
• Greet customers, determine needs, and provide clear work order instructions to technicians.
• Schedule and coordinate work for technicians and yard team, using service scheduling tools.
• Inspect quality of work prior to delivery to the customer.
• Finalize and invoice work orders and collect payment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager in day-to-day operations including scheduling and distribution of work for technicians and yard team.
• Use manufacturer guidelines to determine time estimates for repairs and monitor timely completion.
• Document complaint, cause, and correction in each IDS work order.
• Coordinate with manufacturers or warranty companies for approvals when required.
• Provide prompt, detailed, and timely flow of all paperwork related to service orders.
