Job summary

Richelieu is seeking an Outside Sales Representative specializing in Board and Panel products to join our team in the US territory. You will manage relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, conduct consultative discussions, and drive revenue growth while acting as a trusted business advisor.

Ideal candidates have proven outside sales experience in wood panels or laminates, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a territory with independence.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in wood panels, laminates, and boards.
• Knowledge of specific grains of wood, including plywood.
• Strong work ethic, proactive, coachable.
• Ability to schedule and manage your own time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• University degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Increase Board and Panel product sales as a specialist in those categories.
• Schedule and hold face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers.
• Maintain accountability for the growth of your territory.
• Identify buying patterns and become a stronger, more inclusive supplier.
• Provide a state-of-the-art customer service experience.
• Stay up to date with Richelieu's product offerings and market conditions.
• Manage system information and reporting in CRM.
• Regular automobile travel; field work three to four days per week.
• Position may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
