Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced BMS/EPMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of building automation projects. You will manage design, installation, integration, commissioning, and handover while coordinating clients, contractors, and vendors.

The role requires 3–5+ years in project management within building services with BMS exposure, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Based on-site with travel as needed, the position reports to the Vice President of Electrical Service.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management in construction or building services with BMS exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell, Metasys) and HVAC systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls engineering; PMP/PRINCE2/BCIA certifications preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee design reviews, installation, commissioning; ensure compatibility with codes and other systems.
• Manage client, contractor, supplier relationships; lead vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations; ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead FAT/SAT/IST testing and project handover with complete as-builts and manuals.
• Monitor finances, change orders, forecasts, and billing support.
