Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation, providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing, qualification, process optimization, and equipment validation.

This role requires coordinating with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling designs and processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience conducting process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis preferred.
• Strong CAD skills and familiarity with engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to achieve dimensional, visual, and performance specifications at designed cycle times.
• Establish validated baseline processes and maintain standardized Master Process Sheets.
• Lead in-house and vendor-supported technical training programs.
