Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead blow molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across the organization. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing and process optimization.

You will serve as a liaison between Product Development, R&D, Operations, and suppliers to ensure tooling designs and processes meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, docs, and procedures.
• Train plant personnel on tooling systems, processing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate across functions to support continuous improvement.
