Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician in Aurora, CO to support USCIS ASC operations. This casual on-call role requires availability five days a week, with no guaranteed hours, and involves biometrics processing, crowd control, and front-line customer service for government operations.

Responsibilities include biometrics capture, identity verification, visitor management, and adhering to security and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright on one’s feet for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands to obtain quality fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing both interior and exterior crowd control and assisting the staff in enforcing the rules and policies of the ASCs.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and on behalf of the United States Government.
