Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Biometric Technician in Pittsburgh, PA to support USCIS ASC operations. This part-time role requires availability five days a week, 7:45am to 4:15pm, averaging 30 hours weekly. You will perform biometric processing and customer service in a government-supported environment.

This position is SCA-based with benefits eligibility for part-time staff, including health and welfare options and potential 401(k) contributions. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

Must have English speaking and writing ability.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
Ensure all entrants are approved applicants and visitors while assisting the ASC staff and enforcing rules.
Provide front-line customer service on behalf of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures within program times.
Screen applicants to ensure valid appointment notices and IDs for entry.
Maintain visitor control logs and complete administrative paperwork as needed.
