Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician in Pittsburgh, PA to support USCIS ASC operations. This part-time, overtime-eligible role handles biometric processing, customer service, and security within the ASC.

The position requires English proficiency, a High School Diploma, ability to stand, and willingness to obtain facility credentials. Training is provided; typical schedule is 30 hours per week across five days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Able to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Able to hold and grasp applicant’s hands for fingerprints.
• Experience with basic computer skills.
• Complete biometrics training and certification within 60 days.
• US citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants.
• Ensure ASC entrants are approved and manage crowd flow.
• Provide front-line customer service for USCIS ASC.
• Perform quality biometrics processing (fingerprints, photos, signatures).
• Screen applicants with valid appointment notices and IDs.
