Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Waukegan, IL. The role is on-call, casual, and requires flexibility to cover five days per week as needed.

Responsibilities include biometric registration, ensuring proper entry, and delivering courteous customer service, while maintaining privacy and security of applicant data. Training is provided by Amentum.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Able to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Able to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.
• Facility credentials/authorization required (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure all entrants are approved and assist with crowd control.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. government.
• Perform biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
