Gilder Search Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify performance of complex biomedical systems across multiple regional sites. You’ll communicate findings to clinicians and administrators, ensuring safety, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

This role offers autonomy, ongoing learning, and leadership opportunities within a growing, employee-owned company. Travel across the Midwest region with a Monday–Friday day shift, occasional emergency

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Biomedical Technician role across diverse equipment.
• Willingness to travel regionally and visit multiple sites.
• Hands-on, mechanically inclined problem solving.
• Strong verbal/written communication with customers.
• Autonomy and self-management in field settings.
• Comfort with service software, tablets, and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections and operation verification on complex systems.
• Install, calibrate, and test equipment according to specifications.
• Update supervisors on repair status and customer concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and safety standards.
• Represent the company professionally with healthcare staff at sites.
• Identify risks and propose corrective actions to prevent issues.
