Job summary

STAT Biomedical, a Scientific Safety Alliance company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify performance of biomedical systems with minimal supervision. You will serve as a technical advisor on safe equipment usage and help evaluate new device acquisitions.

You will travel regionally up to 25%, diagnose complex issues, perform safety inspections, and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, ensuring uptime and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Biomedical Technician across diverse equipment.
• Curious, mechanically minded problem-solvers who diagnose issues.
• Strong communicators who explain findings and build trust.
• Reliable, autonomous professionals with ownership and follow-through.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform PA inspections, electrical safety inspections, and OVPs on complex biomedical systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and any customer concerns.
• Build trusted relationships with clinicians and site staff.
• Ensure safety, uptime, and compliance across customer facilities.
