Job summary

Wright Technical Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of complex biomedical systems at customer sites across the Midwest. Regional travel is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional emergency response.

You will be a technical advisor to clinicians and staff on equipment usage, safety, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle planning, while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Biomedical Technician role.
• Curious, mechanically minded problem-solvers who enjoy diagnosing issues.
• Strong communicators who can explain findings to customers.
• Autonomous, reliable professionals with ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to travel regionally across the Midwest.
• Comfortable using service software, tablets and measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform performance testing, inspections, and operation verification procedures on complex equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical systems at customer sites.
• Inform supervisors of repair status and any concerns.
• Build and maintain relationships with clinicians and facility staff.
• Ensure service documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
