Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Field Service Technician in Boston, MA who will install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of complex biomedical systems with minimal supervision. You’ll also serve as a technical advisor to clinicians and staff on safe equipment usage and lifecycle planning.

This role provides broad exposure across biotech, med‑tech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of biomedical technician experience across diverse equipment.
• Willingness to travel regionally with company vehicle provided and expenses covered.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Independent, proactive, and detail‑oriented with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, safety checks, and verification procedures.
• Install, calibrate, and verify complex biomedical systems at customer sites.
• Educate customers on proper equipment use and lifecycle planning.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
