Gilder Search Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify complex biomedical systems across the Midwest and OH regions with regional travel. You will advise clinical staff on safe equipment usage, participate in device evaluations, and maintain service records.

The role offers exposure to biotech and healthcare sectors, including performance testing, maintenance, and calibration of equipment at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Biomedical Technician role.
• Ability to travel across the region; company vehicle provided and expenses covered.
• Curious, mechanically minded problem-solvers with hands-on skills.
• Strong communicator capable of explaining findings and building trust.
• Autonomous worker comfortable with travel and self-management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and verification procedures on complex equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and test biomedical systems at customer sites.
• Provide status updates to supervisors and address customer concerns.
• Maintain ongoing biomedical expertise through training and education.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and act as company ambassador.
