Wright Technical Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify complex biomedical systems across the Austin region. You will serve as a technical advisor to clinical staff, ensuring safe equipment usage and reliable uptime.

This full-time hourly role offers travel across the region, hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and direct customer engagement while representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of biomedical technician experience.
• Willingness to travel regionally and visit multiple sites.
• Strong communication with clinicians and staff.
• Must work autonomously with good time management.
• Detail oriented with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and verifications on biomedical systems.
• Install, calibrate, and test complex equipment at customer sites.
• Inform supervisors of repair status and any issues.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and documentation.
• Lead special field projects and coordinate with internal teams.
• Ensure accuracy of equipment database and service history.
• Adhere to safety, calibration, and regulatory standards.
• Educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Act as the company ambassador with professionalism and integrity.
