Gilder Search Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of complex biomedical systems at customer sites across the Midwest and adjacent regions. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Biomedical Technician or similar.
• Willing to travel regionally up to multiple sites.
• Strong hands-on diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with customers and ability to build trust.
• Self-directed with ownership, accountability and follow-through.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to visit multiple customer sites daily and work independently.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep customer operations running smoothly.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and operation verification procedures on complex biomedical equipment and systems.
• Install, calibrate, and verify high-precision biomedical equipment at customer sites.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, scheduled inspections, and any concerns.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment status with clinical staff.
• Ensure service documentation is complete, timely, and accurate.
• Adhere to safety, quality, calibration, and regulatory standards on every site.
• Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and travel time.
• Suggest process improvements and share field learnings across the organization.
