Job summary

Wright Technical Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Boston area to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of advanced biomedical systems with minimal supervision. You will advise clinical and administrative staff on safe equipment use and help evaluate new device acquisitions.

This role offers exposure across biotech, med-tech, pharma, and healthcare sectors, with certification, maintenance, and operation verification performed at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Biomedical Technician or similar role.
• Willing to travel regionally; company vehicle provided and expenses covered.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to diagnose issues and interact with clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform performance assurance inspections and calibration procedures on biomedical equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and verify complex systems at customer sites.
• Communicate findings clearly to supervisors and healthcare staff.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and service records.
• Travel to multiple sites and manage own schedule with minimal supervision.
