Job summary

Wright Technical Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify performance of complex biomedical systems at customer sites. You’ll provide technical guidance to clinical staff and help evaluate new device acquisitions.

This role offers exposure across biotech, med-tech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors, with responsibility for maintenance, testing, and repair.

Qualifications

• Travel across the region; must be able to accommodate that.
• Minimum 2 years of Biomedical Technician experience across diverse equipment.
• Curious, mechanically minded problem-solvers who enjoy diagnosing issues.
• Strong communicators who can interact with customers and build trust.
• Independent, autonomous work style with ability to manage own schedule.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit multiple customer sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and calibration on complex systems.
• Inform supervisors about repair status and any customer concerns.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment status.
• Lead special projects as assigned and travel as needed.
• Ensure accurate service documentation and compliance with policies.
