Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Supervisor, Biomedical Equipment Technician to lead a team of Biomedical Equipment Technicians across multiple sites. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safe, high-quality clinical engineering services, and coordinate with the CE Operations Manager on resource planning and staff development.

This role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership—mentoring staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting advanced devices, and ensuring compliance with codes

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in biomedical or electronics technology (or equivalent military training).
• Valid driver's license.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Preferred.
• Typically 5 years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of biomedical equipment or comparable devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians, including work direction, coaching, performance feedback, development, training, and accountability.
• Manage planned maintenance schedules and assign planned and unscheduled work orders based on technician capabilities, workload, priorities, and service needs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices; install, calibrate, and test new medical electronic devices and systems.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Partner with the CE Operations Manager on safety and customer-service rounding; participate in routine and special meetings, including daily safety huddles and monthly safety committee meetings.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to Biomedical Equipment Technicians and student interns.
