Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Supervisor, Biomedical Equipment Technician to lead a team of technicians in delivering high-quality Clinical Engineering services. The role includes planning work, coaching staff, and ensuring safe operation across multiple sites.

You will troubleshoot and repair complex medical devices, collaborate with the CE Operations Manager, and drive safety, vendor coordination, and process improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive hourly pay.

Formación

• Education: Associate's degree in biomedical or electronics technology (or equivalent).
• Licensure: Valid driver's license.
• Certification: Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) – Preferred.
• Experience: Typically 5 years in preventive maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians.
• Plan and allocate team member and vendor resources; coaching and development.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic/therapeutic devices.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, codes, and policies.
• Coordinate safety and customer-service rounding; participate in meetings.
• Mentor technicians and student interns; identify training needs.
• Support refurbishment, relocation, and equipment-modification projects.
• Identify equipment replacement needs and gather technical information.
