Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in biomedical or electronics technology (or equivalent).
• Licensure: Valid driver's license.
• Certification: Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Preferred.
• Experience: Typically 5 years in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of biomedical equipment.
• Abilities: Travel to various sites; mentor juniors; lead safety and customer-service rounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians.
• Plan maintenance schedules and assign work orders based on workload and service needs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, codes, and policies.
• Promote safety and customer-service excellence; mentor technicians and interns.
• Support refurbishment, relocation, and equipment-modification projects.
• Identify equipment replacement needs and collaborate with manufacturers.
