Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Highland Park Hospital seeks a Supervisor, Biomedical Equipment Technician to lead a team ensuring safe, timely biomedical engineering services. You will plan maintenance, assign work orders, and coordinate with vendors to meet service goals across diagnostic and therapeutic devices.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in biomedical/electronics tech, a valid driver’s license, and CBET preferred, with about 5 years of PM and repair experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in biomedical or electronics technology or equivalent military training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) – preferred.
• Typically 5 years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians, including coaching and development.
• Plan and allocate staff and vendor resources to meet maintenance goals.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, codes, regulatory requirements, and policies.
• Lead safety and customer-service rounding; participate in safety committee meetings.
