Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced BIM professional to manage model-based information from design teams, trades, and stakeholders across preconstruction, engineering, fabrication, and field installation of BIM-related deliverables.

You will maintain BIM standards, oversee model content, coordinate meetings, and produce turnover BIM files to support project schedules and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Construction with minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Proficient BIM tools and coordination knowledge with experience in Navisworks, Revit, SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of program documents, client standards, and 2D/3D deliverables.
• Maintain program BIM standards and file-based communications to support modeling and team coordination.
• Oversee model content by integrators to ensure seamless integration among stakeholders.
• Review coordination models and submittals for conformance and resolve conflicts.
• Schedule and manage virtual and preconstruction meetings with subcontractors and BIM teams.
• Develop reports on coordination records, constraint logs, and other project docs.
• Coordinate BOMs and BIM parameters with engineering/data teams to align with schedule.
• Oversee closeout process for BIM content and deliver turnover models to owner.
