Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Philadelphia seeks an experienced BIM/VDC Lead to oversee daily BIM operations, ensure alignment with project schedules, and guide the VDC team in deploying Turner's Digital Build standards on diverse projects.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with project teams, manage BIM implementation plans, and ensure quality control, safety integration, and contract compliance across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field and minimum 6 years of related experience.
• Able to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Thorough knowledge of VDC tools and applications in construction, cost, scheduling and coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes for multiple projects.
• Lead the VDC team and align modeling with project schedules and standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes with project constraints and allocate VDC resources.
• Provide quality control on quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Mentor and lead the VDC project team through planning and launch activities.
• Contribute to constructability reviews leveraging trade discipline knowledge.
• Communicate BIM changes or impacts to the project scheduling team.
• Promote EH&S integration and enforce safety protocols on site and with partners.
