Job summary

Empire Today, LLC is seeking a Billing Manager in California to oversee the customer payment process and resolve billing issues with contractors and customers. This role supports our CA markets and requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions.

You will audit balances, coordinate with Installation teams and partners to secure on-time payments, and ensure smooth collections across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; accounting/finance coursework preferred.
• 1+ year billing/accounts receivable or related experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume B2B service environment a plus.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel; ERP/CRM familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate data integrity in all systems.
• Audit unpaid balances on completed but not closed installations and resolve.
• Ensure escalated issues are resolved or routed to the appropriate area/person.
• Resolve customer payment delays on completed installations.
• Coordinate with Installation team and partners to resolve payment issues onsite.
• Manage high-volume collections and call customers for payments.
• Identify and reconcile accounts with payments due.
• Oversee collection and application of customer payments and financing.
• Schedule repairs and confirm dates/times with customers.
• Monitor Cases report for assignment and resolution daily/weekly.
• Contact customers as needed to collect progress payments.
