Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator - Bilingual Spanish to create an inclusive environment and deliver a high-touch experience for patients. You will greet visitors, assist with forms, manage appointments, handle phone calls, and support center operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include updating patient information in the EMR, collecting co-pays, and ensuring the Welcome and Community Room areas remain tidy.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette is required.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.
• US work authorization is required.
• Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Some college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the EMR platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR platform.
• Managing phone lines, taking messages, and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
