Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment at our clinic and make a positive first and last impression on patients. You will perform front-desk tasks, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and update patient records in our EMR system, while supporting a high-touch, patient-centric experience.

The role requires strong computer skills, basic Google Suite knowledge, and professional phone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.
• US work authorization.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Checking in patients and assisting with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays and updating patient information.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR system.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes and maintaining Welcome/Community Room areas.
