Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator in Chicago to create an inclusive environment and deliver exceptional patient experiences. You will greet patients, assist with check-in, manage forms, collect co-pays, and handle scheduling within the EMR system.

The role requires bilingual capabilities (Cantonese and Mandarin mentioned in title) and a friendly, flexible attitude. The position is full-time with a typical 40-hour workweek and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Google Suite and basic computer skills.
• Strong professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages common in the communities served.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in patients and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays and update patient information in the EMR.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in the EMR system.
• Answer and triage phone calls and manage message routing.
• Process faxes and maintain communication channels.
• Keep Welcome and Community Room areas clean.
• May float to other centers in the region as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
