Job summary

Lukos LLC seeks a Custody and Resource Coordinator (CRC) to assist ICE ERO Field Office and detention staff in maintaining a safe detention environment in Chaparral, NM. The CRC provides services addressing victims, trauma, abuse, trafficking, and health care while supporting staff daily operations.

The role involves liaison with detention facilities, language interpretation, needs assessments, and resource development for successful release or relocation planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detainee needs, requests, and complaints per ICE processes.
• Support ERO staff with parent/child communication and child welfare.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Ensure policy and detention standards compliance across facilities.
• Provide language interpretation for detainees and staff.
• Refer detainees to appropriate services for care and follow-up.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable detainees.
• Meet newly detained noncitizens during intake to address questions.
