Job summary

Lukos LLC. is seeking a Custody and Resource Coordinator (CRC) to assist ERO Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment. The CRC will provide services and support related to victims, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, and medical/mental health care for ICE detainees.

Duty locations include ICE detention facilities or offices. The CRC will coordinate with ERO and detention staff, assist with intake orientation, and facilitate access to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent
• Master’s degree preferred but not required
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral
• Minimum 2 years experience with victims, trauma-informed programming, or serving immigrants/foreign-born individuals

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints using ICE Detainee Request Forms or other channels.
• Support ERO officers with parent/child communication and child welfare matters.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities and ERO HQ.
• Help ensure compliance with agency policies and detention standards; communicate with detained noncitizens about available services.
• Provide language interpretation to facilitate staff communication with detained noncitizens.
• Refer noncitizens to appropriate staff for care and follow-up (medical, mental health, chaplain, etc.).
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable individuals and newly detained noncitizens during intake.
• Engage with specialized housing units and programs for vulnerable populations (transgender housing, mental health units, family centers, reunification).
• Assist in release planning and departure planning by researching referrals and resources.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database to support CRC and ERO staff in processing detainees.
