Job summary

Lukos in Winnfield, LA is seeking a Social Work – Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainee operations. The CRC assists field staff with services for victims, trauma-informed care, and coordination of health, housing, and family communications within detention facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience in case management and vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Degree must be accredited and in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Experience with victims, trauma-informed programming, or immigrant populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints.
• Provide language interpretation for communications with detainees.
• Support ERO staff on issues including victim support, trauma, and health care.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Coordinate release and departure planning for vulnerable individuals.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database to facilitate care and removal.
