Job summary

Lukos LLC in Adelanto, CA seeks a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees and detention facilities. The role focuses on trauma-informed care, language access, and coordinated services for victims, medical and mental health needs, and family communications.

The CRC assists ERO and facility staff, provides referrals, and helps develop departure and release plans for vulnerable individuals while ensuring compliance with detention standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accredited program per US DoE.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with inquiries and requests regarding non-immigrant and case-related issues.
• Provide language interpretation and translations as needed for facility staff and detainees.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities and ERO HQ.
• Support ERO staff in ensuring detention standards and safety within facilities.
• Conduct wellness checks and provide referrals for medical and mental health services.
• Meet newly detained individuals to orient them to CRC services.
