Job summary

Lukos LLC. seeks a Custody and Resource Coordinator to support ERO Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment in Chesterfield, VA. The role focuses on providing services to detained noncitizens and facilitating communications and resources across agencies.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in social work or psychology, bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication and project management skills, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the case management process commensurate with training and education at a bachelor’s level.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English (verbal and written).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests (on ICE Detainee Request Form or otherwise), and complaints from the detained noncitizen population regarding non-officer or immigration case related issues.
• Assist ERO officers with addressing noncitizen requests related to parent/child communication and/or child welfare involvement.
• Facilitate on-site support of disability accommodations, including coordinating followup with detention facilities upon submission of a Disability Accommodation Notification to ERO HQ.
• Assist ERO and detention facility staff as a resource to facilitate the compliance of applicable agency policies and detention standards.
