Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Custody and Resource Coordinator to support ERO Field Offices and detention facilities in maintaining a safe environment. You will assist detained individuals with needs, provide trauma-informed support, and coordinate referrals across health, legal, and social services.

This role emphasizes bilingual communication, crisis responsiveness, and cross‑agency collaboration. Based at designated ICE facilities, the position requires strong organizational skills, cultural competence,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests, and complaints from detained noncitizens regarding issues.
• Support ERO staff with parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities.
• Facilitate discussions on allegations of abuse, pregnancy, and special housing.
• Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database to support release/removal.
