Job summary

The Lukos Custody and Removal Coordinator (CRC) supports ERO Field Office staff and detention facilities to maintain a safe detention environment. The CRC handles detainee needs, coordinates disability accommodations, and provides trauma-informed, language-accessible services to detainees and staff.

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology, English and Spanish fluency, and two years of related experience with vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Two years of related experience with victims or vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist detainees with requests and complaints on ICE-related issues.
• Support ERO staff with parent/child communication and child welfare matters.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for CRC/ERO use.
• Assist with removal and release planning for vulnerable individuals.
