Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees and facility staff. The role centers on responsive services for victims, trauma, medical care, and coordinated referrals within detention settings.

The CRC assists in intake, communications, and compliance with detention standards while aligning with ERO and HQ guidance. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology, with a master’s degree preferred, and be fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detainee needs, requests, and complaints related to non-officer or immigration case issues.
• Support ERO staff with parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow up with detention facilities.
• Facilitate compliance with agency policies and detention standards and communicate with detained noncitizens.
• Provide language interpretation and referrals to care and follow-up services.
• Maintain a national resource database to aid release and removal.
