Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may involve shift management in managers’ absence and requires strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team members execute service programs.
• Answer the telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure with the electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges professionally; issue refunds accurately and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and coordinate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules; approve deviations and verify clock-ins/outs.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money/deposits, deposits, and security checks.
