O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and supervise daily operations, while delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and professional customers. The role includes shift management when managers are absent and ensuring compliance with company policies across opening, closing, cash handling, and merchandising tasks.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged, with preferred Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team executes on service programs.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Manage returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately and friendly; stage returns correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules; approve deviations and monitor time clocks.
• Perform all opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and secure the premises.
