O’Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also assumes shift management in the absence of managers, ensuring accurate transactions and responsive service.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, are willing to obtain RSS Certification, and bring either retail or automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Retail sales or auto parts knowledge is beneficial.
• ASE Certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy.
• Process BOPIS/ship-to-store and transfers promptly.
• Handle special orders and returns efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Oversee scheduling, clock-ins/outs and day-end procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security checks.
