Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Texas to support Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and growth within the company is emphasized. You will lead a team in delivering excellent customer service, manage store operations, and ensure accurate invoicing, order processing, and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, banking deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
