Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and store operations. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply and the role includes shift management in absence of management.

The position requires automotive knowledge, retail sales experience, ASE certification, and RSS certification or ability to obtain. Benefits include competitive wages, 401(k) contributions from day one, and health plans.

Qualifications

• RSS Certification required or obtainable
• Experience in retail sales, preferably auto parts
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair
• ASE Certification advantageous
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages, Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy adherence
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and accurately
• Ensure returns, invoicing, and security procedures are followed
• Manage opening/closing duties and end-of-day procedures
• Coordinate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to schedules
