Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and drive sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift responsibilities in the absence of management and supervising customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish desired).
• Retail experience in auto parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service programs in the showroom.
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process BOP/ship-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, end-of-day procedures, and secure cash/assets.
• All other duties as assigned.
