Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in their absence and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position requires strong communication abilities and the potential to obtain RSS Certification. Desirable experience includes retail sales in auto parts and knowledge of automotive systems, with ASE Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to company programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and orders are processed promptly.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders with timely customer contact.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Invoicing and processing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before shipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate image merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock-in/out by team members.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and lock up procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
