Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management duties when managers are absent; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Required: strong communication skills and the ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired: retail auto parts experience, automotive knowledge, ASE certification, and multilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Oversee customer service programs and store operations.
• Answer phones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and refunds accurately; stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to schedule.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end cash procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
