Job summary

FirstService Residential is hiring a Security position in Miami to greet and register residents and guests, monitor access, and maintain safety. You will operate electronic security and emergency systems, log daily records, and respond promptly to incidents.

The role requires customer service experience, strong communication, bilingual abilities, and physical readiness to lift 30–50 lbs. It is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Strong customer service background required.
• Two to three years of business experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Reads and understands company security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
